Ideal for working with watercolour and fluid oil colour, they are also suitable for use with acrylic, water mixable oil and alkyd fast drying oil colour. Sceptre Gold II is a perfect combination, giving a performance close to sable at a price close to synthetic. The Sable hair has excellent spring, whilst the high quality synthetic filaments ensure the brushes are soft enough to work the colour but with a strong snap to return to the original shape.
