Schmincke Oil Bronzes have be made to produce bright metallic effects on oil paintings or other pre-primed surfaces, such as wood, metal or plaster. Schmincke recommend that you use in combination with their Bronze Medium.
When used on absorbent surfaces, Schmincke recommend an additional pre-treatment with turpentine and thinned bronze medium.
